Smart Platform

Description

Smart Platform is an ingenious mobility aid. Allows for an individual's bespoke wheelchair to be easily loaded via integral ramps onto the smart platform, instantly converting a chair to a powered chair granting independence. Making it perfect for schools and care homes, as it enables multiple people to use the Platform but with their own unique seating and controls.

Smart Controls

Smile Rehab's Smart control hub is installed on each smart platform, adding all the functions of the Smart chair to the smart Platform including: carer control, anti-collision sensors, voice confirmations, pre-determined track following, speed and motion control.

Assessing Individuals Needs

Using a Smart platform is a stress free way to assess an individual's capabilities and needs, without having to wait for an actual powered chair with the desired seating and controls.Assessment kit including: Integrated joystick with proportional/switched output and on/off reverse to prevent unwanted driving backwards when excited or startled. 2 no friction arms for mounting joystick etc along with specially adapted mounting bars.
